It’s true, not everything is open and back to normal on Phuket. There are some activities you can’t do …. party all night for example. However, there is still so much to do. Sailing, fishing, snorkel and dive tours. Visit temples and the Big Buddha. Dine out of delicious Thai food, swim at the beaches and so much more. #accommodation #phuket #iVisa #insurance #thingstodo
As soon as I tasted the Burmese tea leaf salad I knew I wanted to learn how to make it. When we were visiting Inle Lake, in the township of Nyaung Shwe (Shan State), we decided we’d do a cooking class. We chose Bamboo Delight Cooking School and we were not disappointed. Exquisite food and exceptional value for money!
Are you travelling on a budget? Always wanted to do a cooking class? Me too! I have always wanted to learn to cook food from a different country, in that country, by a native of that country… know what I mean? I don’t want to learn to cook Khmer food in Australia by a New Zealander for example. I’m a good cook, and I cook a huge variety of food. Thai, Indonesian, Italian, French and good old Aussie roo on the BBQ, to name but a few. BUT this was my chance to learn to cook Khmer food from a Khmer chef! FOR ONLY USD$10!!!! It was cheap enough that Dwayne also chose to do it with me. And let me tell you it is a lot of fun doing it as a couple.
