It’s true, not everything is open and back to normal on Phuket. There are some activities you can’t do …. party all night for example. However, there is still so much to do. Sailing, fishing, snorkel and dive tours. Visit temples and the Big Buddha. Dine out of delicious Thai food, swim at the beaches and so much more. #accommodation #phuket #iVisa #insurance #thingstodo

What can I say about 2020? It has undoubtedly been a year of ups and downs for most people, I am sure. For us, 2020 has been 366 days of love, excitement and fun, as well as frustration, fear and bafflement. We have, surprisingly, still managed to do quite a lot of travelling during this time. – 7 flights took us 10,658km by air. We sailed two boats 6461 nautical miles and we enjoyed road trips and camping and travelled 4300km on land.
Camping on the Yorke Peninsula coast, South Australia. Popular fishing spot, camping behind the sand dunes, walk to the beach, small fee, pit toilet. Things to do nearby include visiting Balgowan and Moonta. We attempted to fish from a kayak for the first time… did we catch anything?
Camping at Hettner Landing on the Murray River. This bush camping area is in Walker Flat, South Australia. All you need to know – location, campsites, facilities, cost, rubbish bins, toilets, what is permitted – fires, dogs, generators?
We discovered a paradise of sapphire blue seas, palm fringed islands and white sands as well as coral gardens over run by Nemo and his mates. It was amazing and it quickly went to number one on our list of favourite places in Indonesia. This tiny archipelago of little islands is a conservation area and although its hard to say exactly what that means in Indonesia the area has certainly benefited from it. The snorkelling was amazing; by far the best we have done in Indonesia so far. Hardly any dead coral, no rubbish to swim through and clownfish by the hundreds.
